When a brand finally catches up to what it already is.

The call to reimagine

Untitled Coffee had been running for nearly three years before Alice decided it was time. The café had built a genuinely loyal following, who comes back out of preference, not just habit. But the visual identity she'd designed herself in the early days had become a ceiling. It didn't give the café, or the people who loved it, anywhere to go.

The brief wasn't "make it look better" but closer to: find the visual language that matches what this place actually feels like to be in.

Something is brewing…

What emerged from the strategy session was a recognition of the café's distinct personality: independent, feminine in a bold rather than delicate way, with a strong point of view on what good coffee and good company should feel like. And so it was my task to make that legible.

A fresh pour

The logo: a pourover set that reads simultaneously as a woman enjoying her brew, with an unapologetic palette that gives Alice a direction for everything else to follow: interior, decoration, marketing materials.

A year and a half later, I noticed something: Alice and her team were spending significant time replying individually to customers asking about their bean selection. The roasts change constantly: small batches, always rotating, which is part of what keeps regulars coming back. So I built them a landing page in Framer which is clean, easy to update themselves, filterable by roast and origin. Their bean list updates in minutes now, not messages.

"Working with Khanh was a straightforward and enjoyable experience from start to finish. She excelled in understanding our brand ethos and translating it into a visually appealing and cohesive identity. Her commitment to understanding your business, along with her creative approach, sets her apart."

Alice Le, Owner, Untitled Coffee

The rebrand didn't transform Untitled Coffee. The café was already becoming what it needed to be and the design just made it easier to see. One customer asked if they could tattoo the logo on their shoulder. I'll take that.
